All items sold through Amber Sceats are intended for personal use only. Amber Sceats reserves the right to cancel any orders which appear to be for the purpose of wholesale or resale.
Modifying or Cancelling an Order
We do our best to ship orders as soon as possible. This means we are only able to accept cancellations if we have written notice of your intention to cancel before the items have been sent. If you have changed your mind about your purchase, please follow our returns procedure to request a refund for the sale amount (we do not offer exchanges or refunds on earrings, nose rings, headpieces, promotional, and sale items).
Wrong Shipping Address
If you have inputted an incorrect shipping address on your order, please contact us ASAP. Please note that once your order is on its way, we are unable to change the shipping address. We advise reaching out to Australia Post directly as they may be able to redirect your parcel. Orders returned due to an invalid address may be reshipped at your expense. After an order has been delivered to the correct shipping address, we cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages.
If for any reason at all we're unable to fill your order, we will:
- Let you know by email as soon as possible.
- Let you know when your item will be available or do our best to offer you an alternative.
- Reverse your payment if the transaction has been processed.
All orders placed in Australia will be charged in Australian dollars. Orders placed overseas will be charged in US dollars.
AmberSceats.com accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Afterpay, gift certificates, or direct bank deposit into our nominated account.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
PayPal Express feature is available to speed through the checkout.
Store Credit and Gift Certificates
You can also use store credit or a gift certificate. Each gift certificate and store credit carries an individual code you can easily enter when completing the checkout.
Afterpay is available for Australian customers only. Afterpay is an interest-free payment plan option. The funds for the first payment will need to be available on your card at the time of purchase. For more information, see Afterpay.
If you choose to use direct deposit payment methods, your purchases will not be shipped until payment has been cleared and accepted.
Shipping & Handling
Your order will be dispatched within 2 business days from the date of the order. We ship to all countries accepted by Australia Post International Registered Post, EMS, or DHL Express. Please note we do not ship to PO Boxes.
During sale periods, please allow an extra 7 working days for your order to be dispatched.

Click & Collect:
Click & Collect is a free service that allows you to order online and pick up your purchase from our head office in Paddington, Sydney (address below) Monday – Friday, between 9 am and 5 pm. We will email you to let you know as soon as your order is ready. Please wait for this email before coming to our head office to collect. Available for NSW customers only. Please ensure you bring ID and proof of purchase.

All orders have an Australia Post or DHL tracking number. Contacting these couriers and quoting your tracking number will enable you to monitor the delivery progress of your parcel. Please note for international orders – once parcels have left Australia, you will need to track your parcel via your country's postal service by quoting the same tracking number.
Our deliveries will require a signature on receipt, so please ensure you give us a suitable address where someone is available to sign for the delivery when it arrives. We are unable to redirect goods once your order has been sent.
As you can understand, we are unable to take responsibility for any unforeseen circumstances (reasons beyond our control) that may cause your delivery to be late.
Amber Sceats delivers jewelry around the globe. Our jewelers take care to inspect and ensure all orders are in perfect condition. All jewelry is then packed in a signature pouch before being delivered to you. If, due to an unforeseen circumstance, your jewelry arrives in a damaged or less than perfect condition, you must notify us within 48 hours.
Import Duties & Taxes
For all merchandise purchased through Ambersceats1.com, a mandatory 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST) is payable by Australian law for goods sent to an Australian delivery address. For all Australian residents or Australian shipping addresses, this 10% GST will be included in your order total and processed at the time of sale.
For international customers, this 10% tax will not be charged by Ambersceats1.staging.wpengine.com. However, you will be liable to pay your own country's applicable import/duty taxes on receipt of your package. It is your sole responsibility to research these duties/taxes, and you are liable to pay them on receipt of your packages.
If the buyer refuses to accept delivery because they don't want to pay the duties and taxes imposed by their country, they then bear the cost of returning the order to us. This includes the freight cost, and the amount will be deducted from their refund.
Return & Exchange Policy

All items are final and are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund unless deemed faulty.
We do not offer exchanges or refunds on sale items or items purchased using a discount code (exclusive of our sign-up code).
Due to hygiene regulations, we do not offer exchanges or refunds on items such as earrings and crystal tops. Please choose carefully. Items purchased using a promotional discount code, as well as sale items, are strictly non-refundable or exchangeable.
Customers are required to pay for postage when returning items to us. We do not cover return costs.
We offer a refund, exchange, and credit notes for change of mind on unworn, unused, undamaged items purchased at full price only, within 14 days of purchase. A deduction of $10.00 will be made from your refund if the gift box and/or pouch is missing.
- Request a Return ID number within 14 days of receipt of your order by emailing email@example.com.
- Complete the return form included with your order.
- Include the original invoice and returns form in the parcel.
- You must also return the gift box/pouch your item was sent with.

We recommend using a return freight method with a tracking number for all returns. We must receive your returned items within 14 days of issuing the Return ID number. We are not responsible for returns damaged or lost in transit.
If your goods arrive faulty or damaged, we are more than happy to offer a repair, full refund, or exchange, following the process outlined below:
- The item must have been purchased within 3 months of notification.
- Amber Sceats is to be notified by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Images of the fault are to be sent by email to email@example.com.
Upon receipt, your jewelry item will be assessed by our jeweler. The return shipping cost for the faulty item will be reimbursed to you once the item has been assessed as having a manufacturer's fault, and the return has been granted. We, therefore, suggest you include the return freight payment receipt with your original invoice and return document so this freight cost and your original payment can be refunded together.
